Poha Fingers: A quick healthy evening snack, stay no more hungry.

RECIPE as follows:

INGREDIENTS

  • Poha about 1cup

  • Potatoes 2 medium

  • Onion 1small finely chopped

  • Green chilly finely chopped

  • Salt 1tsp

  • Oregano if available

  • Chilly powder 1/2 tsp

  • Chat masala 1/2 tsp

Amount of ingredients can be changed as per requirement.

PROCESS

● Dry roast poha, and grind it to powder in grinder.

● Smash the potatoes and add chopped green chillies, gradually add chopped onions, mix them together.

● Add salt, oregano, chat masala, red chilly masala, now add the powdered poha along with them.

● Knead all together make a proper soft dough from it. Keep it aside for sometime.

● After some time take the dough and cut small balls from it. Grease some oil in hand and roll the small balls into finger like shape or any desired shape.

● Add oil in frying pan, heat it, turn the flame to medium and one by one put the poha fingers in oil to fry.

● Keep the flame medium to low while frying else it will burn.

● Once they are golden brown, take them out. Serve with sauce and mayonnaise.
